Important Update:

My instagram account ela.grima that I had for 5 years was deleted incorrectly by Meta’s AI moderation tool. 5 years of connections all lost overnight with no possibility to appeal the decision. This is such a blow to my career and right now it honestly feels like I might not be able to recover from this.

I have created 2 new instagram accounts and I would really appreciate if you can give me a follow and spread the word that I am still here making ceramics.

Moving forward I don’t really wanna rely solely on that app. If you would like to make sure we can stay in touch you can subscribe to my newsletter. I do not have a newsletter right now but I can drop you an email if major changes occur. My new account has already been flagged and part of me is worried that the same will happen again.

You can still find me and my ceramics at Höstgatan 37 in Malmö.

If you would like to support me you can do so by sharing and saving my posts. If you know a friend that likes ceramics you can let them know about me. And if you have bought something from me or attended one of my workshops I would appreciate if you can leave me a review on Google.

Thank you for the love and support. It really means the world to me.

About

Hello! I’m Ela, a ceramicist based in Malmö, Sweden. My focus is on stoneware clay, and I hand-throw each piece on the potter’s wheel. I’m passionate about creating functional ceramics, drawing inspiration from minimalistic shapes and Japanese pottery, all with a contemporary twist.

My journey into ceramics began a few years ago while I was living in Barcelona. There was a studio in Raval, right across from my friend's house, that always caught my eye. One day, I decided to walk in and inquire about taking a class. At the time, I was working in an office and yearning for a creative outlet. After just one class, I was hooked! I eventually made the leap to quit my job, move to Sweden, and pursue my dream of becoming a full-time ceramicist.

You can visit me at my studio on Höstgatan 37 in Malmö. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at hej.elagrima@gmail.com.
